Hub

A wheel hub is a central part of the wheel assembly on a heavy goods vehicle (HGV) or other type of commercial truck. It is the point around which the wheel rotates and is attached to the axle of the vehicle. The hub typically consists of a central cylindrical section that the wheel bearings sit in and a flange, which is used to mount the wheel onto the vehicle.
